Mission Statement

The Pen Argyl Area school District will foster educational growth and lifelong learning by implementing evidence-based teaching and learning practices focused on college and career readiness.

Vision

The Pen Argyl Area School District will employ future-focused teaching and learning practices to address the ever-changing technological advances in society, preparing our students for the careers of today, and those anticipated in the future.

1. Student growth and development guide all decisions.

2. Teachers, students and community members will utilize state-of-the-art technologies and innovative teaching and
learning practices to develop communication, collaboration, creativity, computational thinking and critical thinking skills, as students move from being information consumers to information creators.

3. All students will succeed and persevere in all endeavors through a well-rounded education: academic, co-curricular and extracurricular.

4. All students will practice civil behaviors such as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness and kindness.
